The busy pianist from Witten in Westfalia is at home on all German stages, and he has played at numerous festivals, even overseas. His passionate playing, which puts him into lots of sweat, mesmerizes his audience! His great, precise clusters, a heavily hammering left hand, a rhythm which never fails and melodies full of ideas get to the hearts of the listeners. Joerg is fascinated by Albert Ammons, the pioneer and grand master of the early Boogie years. He even recorded a complete CD in the latter’s style, in honour of Albert’s 100th anniversary. At his own festival, the "Boogie Woogie Congress" in Essen, and several other concert series, Joerg presents great names in Boogie piano as well as young, wild up-and coming artists.
