Born in Swabia as the son of a priest, Thomas got piano and organ lessons in a very early age. He even thougt about becoming a church musician. His wish to study philosophie was stronger and that brought him almost directly to being a Blues muscian. He combines a very high level of pianistic skills with deep emotional expressiveness. That makes him a well known pianist in this style. Thomas was awarded with the German Blues Award twice.
