The Hamburg drummer has specialized on an unusual instrument, the Cajon. This "tea box" is a great rhythm instrument, originally from Peru, and hiherto unknown in Blues. Martin has perfectioned his playing on this instrument and was the first to accompany Blues with it. It fits perfectly! He often plays in the band "Blues Culture", together with Abi Wallenstein and Steve Baker. At the Fabrik, he has shown, that he can support Boogie Woogie with exuberant virtuosity.
