Inga Rumpf

Inga Rumpf, singer of the legendary Rock band "Frumpy", is well known for her characteristically smoky voice. She had many big hits, and she also worked as a songwriter, e. g. for Tina Turner (Let’s Stay Together). She always nurtured her Blues roots, and she often performed with Blues and Boogie Woogie pianists, like Vince Weber or Joja Wendt. One of the highlights of her carreer certainly was a tour together with B. B. King. At the Hamburg Boogie Woogie Connection, she sang sensitive Blues ballads with her own piano acccompaniment.
