Lila is a wonderful singer with the Blues in her blood! She was born in Chicago, hometown of her grand father Albert Ammons, the great idol of all Boogie Woogie pianists. Lila performs frequently with her congenial stage partner Axel Zwingenberger as a piano-vocal duet. She particularly enjoys the humorous Blues songs from the early days of Blues recordings, reviving them with a wink of her eyes and her extraordinary musicality.
