The young pianist from Denmark seems to hit the stage reluctantly, but then he really takes off with fantastic power! He follows his great idols, the Boogie Woogie pioneers of the early days, with great virtuosity. The biggest influence on his pianistic expression however certainly is by Axel Zwingenberger, whom Lasse knows and admires since his school days. His performance is sometimes almost theatre-like, he wows the audience, then he leaves the stage as shyly as he has entered it – leaving the audience flipping!
