Young Hamburg pianist Bendix Boettger was born into an extremely musical family: his mother Jasmin is a classical pianist, his father the famed Ragtime and Jazz specialist Gottfried Boettger, co-founder of the "Rentnerband" and for decades the house pianist of the popular "3 nach 9" talk show at German TV. Playing piano seems to have been laid into his cradle already. As early as at the age of 6, Bendix played in public, together with his parents. In 2013, at the age of 14, he participated at the "Steinway Piano Slam Contest"!
Bendix has played together with his father Gottfried Boettger as a duet at the Hamburg Boogie Woogie Connection in 2014, 2015 and 2017.
