The renowned Jazz drummer Torsten Zwingenberger, brother of Boogie Woogie pianist Axel Zwingenberger, has hit the stage with his brother since the start of his carreer, as well as with Jazz bands. His well set, subtle way to accompany Blues and Boogie Woogie, like his Jazz playing, became his trademark. He accompanied many piano colleagues live and on recordings. In the last years, Torsten has developped a completely new approach to the instrument, integrating several percussion instruments into his drum set, and now he plays with breathtaking technique with up to five foot pedals and three drumsticks simultaneously. Torsten calls this "Drumming 5.0".
