Don Washington was raised with lots of music, predominantly church music, in the State of New York in the U. S. Besides piano, he also plays organ, saxophone and other instruments, and he sings as well. Gospel, Blues and Soul are his favourites. The warm sound of his voice deludes the listeners, whilst his almost rocking piano accompaniment develops a driving force. Don writes his own songs, too, which offer humorous lyrics, as could be heard when he performed at the Fabrik.
