Daniel Ecklbauer was born in Traun in Upper Austria, and he immensely enjoys playing the piano. The audience sees and feels it at each of his performances. Besides his great instrumental technique, there is always some wit in his playing. His own compositions emerge pearl-like from the keyboard. His Blues are not grave, they are sensitive and swinging, like his "Wandsbek Blues" – guess, to whom this tune is dedicated? His repertoire also contains Ragtime tunes or rocking vocal numbers.
