The young U.S. American began to play Boogie Woogie piano already as a child. Axel Zwingenberger met the then 16 years old in Cincinnati in 2007 for the first time. His joy of playing and aim for success were obvious already then. Meanwhile, Chase lives and studies in Boston, and he produces his own annual Boogie Woogie festival in his home town Iowa City. He tours in the United States and in Europe. His happy-go-lucky approach to the music of Erroll Garner or Meade Lux Lewis result in his performances of inspiring ease.
